Request Co-Mo to Visit your Classroom

We love visiting schools and sharing valuable information with young learners about cooperatives, electric safety, and the work we do in the community! Here are some of the educational programs we offer, but if you have specific needs, let us know – we’re happy to customize!

Classroom Book Reading

A Co-Mo lineman or representative will visit your classroom to read Cat and Duck and the

Electric Cooperative. Each student will receive a personal copy of the book to take home.

Our representative may also bring equipment for students to explore and try on! This activity

is ideal for preschool through 2nd grade students.

Lineman or Fiber Technician Visit

Our linemen and fiber technicians are excited to visit and share insights into their jobs at

the cooperative. They’ll discuss their roles, bring along equipment for hands-on interaction,

and can even provide an outdoor tour of their truck, depending on location and weather.

This visit can be tailored to any age group, from preschool to high school.

Electric Safety Presentation

Co-Mo’s electric safety presentation covers essential tips and precautions for students, including a live demonstration on the dangers of downed power lines. This interactive session is recommended for 3rd through 6th grade.

If you have additional ideas or unique requests, we’d love to work with you to create a program that fits your needs!
