Update at 3:40 PM 7/6/26: Restoration efforts continue this afternoon, with approximately 441 members currently without power.
Our linemen and mutual aid crews are working hard to restore each remaining outage, but some areas continue to have extensive damage that takes significant time to safely repair.
Crews are continuing to work as quickly and safely as possible. We greatly appreciate the continued patience and understanding of our members as this massive restoration effort continues.

Update at 12:15 PM 7/6/26: Restoration work continues across the Co-Mo service area, and the number of members without power is now down to about 1,000.
Co-Mo linemen and mutual aid crews continue working through the remaining outages, making repairs and restoring power as quickly and safely as possible today.

Update at 10:00 AM 7/6/26: Co-Mo linemen and mutual aid crews continue to make progress this morning to restore power to the remaining members still experiencing an outage. Outage numbers continue to decline, and crews will keep working through the day with the goal of having all members restored by this evening.

Update at 7:30 AM 7/6/2026: Co-Mo linemen and mutual aid crews are back at it this morning, continuing restoration efforts across the Co-Mo service area.
At this time, the number of members without power is down to approximately 1,500. Crews will continue working throughout the day to repair the extensive damage left behind by the storms. Our plan for the day remains to have power restored to all members by this evening. We appreciate the continued patience.

Update at 10:00 PM 7/5/2026: Co-Mo linemen and mutual aid crews are wrapping up work for the night to get some much needed rest before picking restoration efforts back up tomorrow morning.
Crews will be back out early, continuing their efforts to restore power as quickly and safely as possible. We know any amount of time without power is difficult, and we greatly appreciate the patience and understanding of our members as our linemen continue working through the extensive damage left behind by Saturday’s storms.
Thank you again to our Co-Mo crews, mutual aid partners and everyone supporting this massive restoration effort. We’ll be back at it tomorrow morning and will continue providing updates as work progresses with our sights set on all members power being restored by tomorrow evening.

Update at 8:25 PM 7/5/2026: At the peak of yesterday’s storm, approximately 11,000 Co-Mo members were without power. That number has now dropped to 2,290 as restoration work continues across the service territory.
The extent of the damage has been significant. Crews have now identified 75 broken poles in addition to damaged crossarms, downed lines and other storm-related issues.
Co-Mo linemen and the visiting mutual aid crews will continue working into the evening to repair damage and restore power.

Update at 5:00 PM 7/5/2026: Restoration work continues across Co-Mo Country, with approximately 3,000 members still experiencing an outage. Our Co-Mo linemen and mutual aid crews will continue working throughout the afternoon and into the evening to restore power.
The extent of the damage left behind by yesterday’s storm continues to become clearer. So far, crews have identified approximately 70 broken poles across our system and that number only includes broken poles. It does not include broken crossarms, downed lines or other damage crews are encountering in the field.
Every one of those damaged locations takes time, equipment and careful work to repair safely. Our crews are working hard, and we are incredibly grateful for the mutual aid teams working alongside them and for the patience of our members as restoration continues.

Update at 1:35 PM 7/5/2026: Restoration work continues across the Co-Mo service area as our crews work alongside mutual aid teams to repair damage and restore power to members.
We have added even more support to the effort, with crews from Callaway Electric Cooperative and Grundy Electric Cooperative joining the response! With their arrival, 51 visiting linemen are now working alongside our Co-Mo crews to restore power as safely and quickly as possible.
We are incredibly grateful for the continued support from our fellow cooperatives. Work will continue throughout the day as teams make repairs and restore power across Co-Mo Country.

Update at 10:53 AM 7/5/2026: Outages are down to approximately 4,867 and continue to decline as Co-Mo and mutual aid crews make amazing progress across the system.
Our teams are working hard to reach as many outages and restore power to as many members as possible today.

Update at 8:42 AM 7/5/2026: Our crews and mutual aid teams continue working across Co-Mo Country today to restore power following yesterday’s severe storms. Currently, approximately 6,000 members remain without power.
Our teams will continue working as quickly and safely as possible throughout the day to repair the widespread damage caused by yesterday’s 80 mph winds.
Our phone system and SmartHub are both working and available to report outages. Thank you for your continued patience and understanding as our crews and mutual aid partners work to restore power to our members.

Update at 10:42 PM 7/4/2026: Our crews continue to work restoring power for thousands of members in the Co-Mo service area. Mutual Aid crews have been contacted and are either here and helping or are on their way! Thank you to Farmers' Electric Cooperative - Missouri, Howard Electric Cooperative, Boone Electric Cooperative, United Electric Cooperative, Inc., Platte-Clay Electric Cooperative, Tri-County Electric Cooperative MO, Consolidated Electric Cooperative, and Macon Electric Cooperative for the help!!! With the amount of damage that storm caused, we greatly appreciate the help restoring power to our members!

Update at 8:36 PM 7/4/2026: This is not the Independence Day we expected, but our crews are up to the task! The tops of numerous poles in Co-Mo Country declared independence from their lower half and a bunch or trees decided to be liberated from the ground with the help of the storm winds this afternoon. Our team continues to work hard to restore power for our members as quickly and safely as possible. Thank you for your ongoing patience.

Update at 7:14 PM 7/4/2026: Our team continues to work quickly and safely to restore outages following the storm this afternoon. At this time our phone system and SmartHub are back up. There is not an estimated restoration at this point as we continue work towards getting the power back on for members experiencing an outage.
