Camp Days & Bright Futures

There's something special about spending a summer day at Camp Clover Point. The fresh air, the excitement of camp, and the chance to learn something new make it one of Co-Mo Connect's favorite summer traditions.

This June, Co-Mo employees Cathy Sinclair, Summer Walker, and Kelsie Baldus joined local 4-H campers for a day of hands-on learning, helping them build their own extension cords while teaching the basics of electrical safety. Led by our generation and transmission cooperative, Central Electric Power Cooperative, the activity gives campers practical skills they can use at home while showing them that electricity is something to respect, understand, and use safely.

Of course, the day is about more than extension cords. It's about encouraging curiosity, answering questions, and giving kids the confidence that comes from creating something with their own hands. Those are lessons that can last long after summer camp comes to an end.

Supporting programs like 4-H is one way Co-Mo puts the cooperative principle of Concern for Community into action. By investing in opportunities that help kids learn, grow, and discover new skills, we're investing in the future of the communities we proudly serve. We're grateful to Central Electric Power Cooperative for another great day at camp and look forward to returning again next summer.
