Co-Mo Grants $39,000 to College Students

Co-Mo Connect Powered by Co-Mo Electric Cooperative has awarded $39,000 in scholarships this year to 26 deserving recipients through its Operation Round Up program. This initiative allows Co-Mo members to contribute to the fund by rounding up their bills to the next whole dollar. The Co-Mo Cares Board of Trustees carefully selects the recipients from a pool of applicants. Eligible students must be permanent residents within Co-Mo’s service territory, although Co-Mo membership or subscription is not required. They must be planning to attend an accredited technical or academic school. The total amount of scholarships provided since the inception of Operation Round Up now stands at an impressive $792,113.32!
