How can I enter?
Students are asked to enter a project that answers the contest question. Download the flyer for specific requirements.
When is the deadline to enter?
Entries must be received by Oct. 16, 2020, to be judged. Mail them to “Youth Tour,” P.O. Box 210, Tipton, MO 65081
How are winners chosen?
A three-judge panel reviews all the projects and scores them based on how they met the project requirements, factual accuracy, clarity, technical soundness, independent research and creativity. The two or three projects in each of Co-Mo’s service districts are named finalists and invited to the Youth Tour finals on Nov. 21, 2019, at the First Baptist Church in Tipton. There, the nine finalists will be interviewed by the judges, take a written test, present their project and compete in a game show. Scores from the project, test and game show will be added to the judges’ marks for poise/presentation skills and professional maturity. The top point-earner in each district and the next highest scorer will be headed to Washington, D.C. The five runners-up will be eligible to attend the Cooperative Youth Conference and Leadership Experience in Jefferson City, Mo.
