On Dec. 9, 2021, Co-Mo Connect’s economic development specialist, Jennifer Presberry, completed the Leadership Missouri program through the Missouri Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The program, founded in 1990, seeks to identify current and emerging leaders throughout the state. Its goal is to enhance leadership skills and increase knowledge of Missouri’s economic opportunities and challenges.
Applicants for the Leadership Missouri program are selected through a special subcommittee of the Missouri Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The subcommittee searches for individuals with strong leadership potential and those who will make a positive impact on their communities.
“We are extremely proud of Jennifer for completing the Leadership Missouri program,” said Co-Mo Connect Director of Member Care Corey ten Bensel. “She has already been an invaluable asset to the Co-Mo Connect team, and with the guidance of the program, we truly look forward to what the future has in store for the region we serve.”
Presberry has worked at Co-Mo Connect since June and has already helped the organization coordinate multiple economic development projects that will impact the mid-Missouri area, such as the cooperative’s involvement in bringing business and industry to the region (www.mo4biz.com).
“This program takes time and dedication to complete,” said Co-Mo Connect CEO Aaron Bradshaw. “Only those that are seen as true leaders in the state are selected, and we are honored to have one of those individuals working at Co-Mo Connect benefiting our region, members, and subscribers.
