Tipton, Mo. (Dec. 18, 2014) — Co-Mo Connect is giving an early Christmas present to its subscribers — the ability to watch TV shows anywhere they can receive an Internet signal.
The fiber-to-the-home Internet, TV and telephone provider announced today it has activated its Watch TV Everywhere feature, enabling subscribers to use devices other than a TV set to catch their favorite programming.
“We wanted to launch the channels we launched before the holidays. There are a lot of college bowl games and other good sporting events on the ESPN family of networks, so we wanted to provide the option to catch these games no matter where our subscribers are — in the car traveling with family, at an airport, hotel, wherever,” Klindt said.
“Wired connections or in-home WiFi will provide the best quality,” Klindt said. “When you’re roaming — at airports, stores and such — the quality will vary depending on the strength of the signal.”
There is no extra charge from Co-Mo Connect to use the service, but Klindt cautioned that subscribers should make sure they know their cell phone carrier’s data caps and roaming charges.
“Those charges aren’t from us, but they can be significant, especially outside the United States,” he said.
